Book Review: “Right Man, Right Time”

Right Man, Right Time, is a book that takes readers on a rollercoaster of emotions. Ollie, a witty, fast-paced college student finds herself in a fictitious relationship with matured man Silas, a professional hockey player in the book.

After an unfortunate encounter with her ex dating her arch-rival, she urgently kisses a stranger at a club, which sparks the awkward yet passionate relationship. She had no idea how this experience will alter her life for good.

The author does a superb job of setting the scenario and generating tension right away.

The author dives into themes of the age difference and the difficulties of relationships as the fake relationship between both protagonists grows. The two characters have strong chemistry, and their developing friendship gives their relationship more depth. However, it quickly becomes apparent that there are issues and uncertainties about the sincerity of their connection.

The writing style of the book flows smoothly and keeps the reader engaged throughout.

What sets “Right Man, Right Time” apart from other romance novels is the vulnerability and complexity of the characters. The character of Olie is appealing as a young girl of today’s generation finding her love and navigating the relationship.

Overall, “Right Man, Right Time” is a captivating and emotional romance novel that tackles themes of love, age difference, and the complexities of relationships. The author’s writing style keeps readers engaged, and the characters are relatable and well-developed.
